About NEO Observatory

logobigNetherlands Economic Observatory focuses on regional and sectoral economic research on a predominantly quantitative basis. NEO Observatory, founded in 2015 by Frédéric Reynès, Olaf Koops and Walter Manshanden, is a TNO spin-off. We maintain, develop and integrate official data from institutes such as the Central Bureau of Statistics, the Central Planning Bureau and Eurostat into high quality data on regions, sectors and economic innovation. Our clients are governments, semi-governments and other institutes. Example studies are regional economic explorations in the short and long term, cost-benefit analyses of investment projects and analyses of the economic structure of a region or sector. An overview of all publications of NEO Observatory can be found here.
